RELEASE: Gil Cisneros Leads in New CA-39 District Poll

Fullerton, Calif. – Today, Gil Cisneros, Fmr. Lieutenant Commander who is running for Congress in California’s 39th Congressional District and is proudly endorsed by local law enforcement and firefighters, released an internal polling memo which showed him leading over Republican opponent Young Kim. The internal poll, conducted in July by Tulchin Research, shows strong support for Cisneros from across the community and demonstrates his strong position ahead of the November election.

The poll shows Cisneros leading over Young Kim by 11 points, with 53% of voters saying they would vote for Cisneros and only 42% of voters saying they would vote for Kim.

“Gil Cisneros holds widespread support within the 39th district from law enforcement, firefighters, Planned Parenthood, and local elected officials and is focused on running a campaign about real people,” said Nic Jordan, Deputy Campaign Manager and Communications Director for the Cisneros campaign. “Voters trust Gil to put their interests ahead of Washington special interests and believe in his personal story of service to our country and philanthropy towards his community. Clearly, Gil’s message is resonating with the people of the 39th and he’s well-positioned to cross the finish line in November and represent this district in Congress.”
