RELEASE: Gil Cisneros Endorsed by LA County Supervisor Hilda L. Solis

Fullerton, Calif. – Today, Gil Cisneros, Fmr. Lieutenant Commander who is running for Congress in California’s 39th Congressional District, was endorsed by Supervisor Hilda L. Solis, who serves as the Los Angeles County Supervisor for the First District. In 2009, Hilda L. Solis was appointed as Secretary of Labor by President Obama, becoming the first Latina to serve in the United States Cabinet. Prior to her appointment, Hilda L. Solis served in the California State legislature, and as Member of Congress from 2001 to 2009, where she was a leader on labor causes, women’s issues, and environmental justice legislation.

The endorsement of the the Supervisor Hilda L.
